Griffis Seafood Co

Our Story

Family-run.
Gulf-caught.

We work the Gulf the way it should be worked — sustainably, on a small scale, and with the people who actually pull it out of the water. Then we get it to your kitchen before anyone has a chance to freeze it.

Aboard the Griffis boat

Griffis Seafood Co is a family-run operation working the Gulf of Mexico. We buy directly from a small group of certified fishermen — the kind who trap instead of trawl, and who follow the harvest rules whether anyone's checking or not.

For stone crab, that means one claw per crab. The rest goes back in the water to regenerate. It's the difference between a fishery that holds up year after year and one that gets fished out.

From the dock, every claw is hand-inspected, graded, and moved through a cold chain straight to your door. No freezer. No cold storage holding pattern. What you get is what came off the water — usually within 48 hours.
